About 1610 Studio

1610 Studio was founded in July of 2022 by me, Alex McIntosh.

My journey with YouTube started over 15 years ago.

I’ve learned what makes people click, what keeps them watching, and most importantly, what turns views into revenue.

I started YouTube at 12, making goofy videos. By 13, I had two tech channels. Both eventually failed, but I learned what makes people click.

Then came a successful gaming blog and YouTube channel, but when the game lost popularity, so did my audience. I pivoted, trying to cover more games, but it flopped.

So I regrouped.

Photography became my next passion, and I grew to 13K+ followers, got featured on large photography accounts, and even made some money selling prints and doing photoshoots.

But still, I couldn’t crack the code to real revenue. Another dead end.

Then came music videos… One hit over 300K views.

But again, no clear path to sustainable income.

That’s when I made a critical shift. Instead of chasing creative projects for the sake of art, I started focusing on what actually drives revenue.

That shift led me to YouTube marketing for businesses… And to be specific, e-commerce businesses.

I helped a niche online retailer grow to 27K+ subscribers and millions of views. Not just for brand awareness… but to drive real sales.
